ISD-Update: Major Release

New features and improvement for the Intelligent Spooling Devices

There are new features available for the Intelligent Spooling Devices: For the ISD400 (for large enterprise networks) and for the ISD300 (the solution for small and medium-sized enterprises) major releases are available. Aside from performance and stability improvements, this update offers increased security. For example, unauthorized access is prevented with session timeouts that log the user out automatically after a certain period of inactivity. 

Furthermore, we have improved the Universal Print Driver (UPD) capability. The trend, to provide a device-specific printer driver for each printer model has changed. Today, many manufacturers such as HP, now offer a UDP. The new UPD capability has been integrated in the ISD300/R3 since version 16.1.8, and the ISD400 since version 15.1.17. However, it has been improved in this major releases. Centralized printer driver management automatically loads the necessary driver on each workstation. 

Do not worry about matching drivers - just print!
