Product Update: Full Support of Windows 7!

Since the release of Windows 7 last year this new version of the Microsoft operating system Windows continues its success. Contrary to its predecessor Vista, experts' opinions are mostly positive about Windows 7 with little to criticize. This helps Windows 7 to spread out quickly both in private networks and in enterprise environments.

Of course we tested of Windows 7 compatibility with all our solutions, software tools etc. and we can assure you that they all work well with Windows 7!
But since many of our customers have questions regarding this we are happy to give you a more detailed overview.

You can install, configure, and manage all our print servers, ISD Intelligent Spooling Devices, and TPG ThinPrint Gateways in the usual way and simply print! 

Our myUTN USB device servers, too, make no difference between the new Windows 7 and the older Windows Vista and Windows XP from the user's point of view.

With respect to SEH software tools for our solutions you will need to consider whether you have installed either the 32 bit or 64 bit versions of Windows 7. With the 32 bit version, our software tools such as the SEH InterCon-NetTool, SEH Printmonitor, SEH Printer Wizard and SEH ISD Manager as well as the SEH UTN Manager will run as they always have, with no special configuration.

With Windows 7 / 64 bit version you can also run the SEH UTN Manager without special configuration. The SEH InterCon-NetTool and SEH ISD Manager should be set to run in 32 bit mode.
